A.S.I. Agents have high standards but maintain the low profile.  The following is a short biography for the three primary investigators working for you.

William Shafer began his surveillance and investigations career in 1994 working for various agencies over the years in North Carolina .  It is in the area of covert/stealth surveillance operations that he made his name in in a variety of case types that required discreet surveillances.  Over the years, other investigation agencies began to call on his expertise and ability to obtain video in harsh environments and difficult locations.  In 2005, Bill founded AngelArc Surveillance & Investigations and was the sole operator.  He joined the Army National Guard after completing over 624 hours of Law Enforcement  training at Surry Community College, where he was the Class President and group leader.  In 2006, he was deployed to Iraq during the deadliest years of fighting as a combat patrol machine gunner and Team Leader assigned to the Brigade Commander’s Protection Detail.  In 2010, he was deployed yet again to Afghanistan as a combat patrol truck commander/team leader for the Battalion Commander’s Protection Detail and doubled as the Military Intelligence/Reconnaissance and Targeting NCO for the southern region of the country, again, during the deadliest fighting since 2001.  In both countries he led troops into combat, experienced combat action, conducted surveillance and intelligence operations and today utilizes those experiences and disciplines to enhance surveillance operations in North Carolina and abroad.

Kenneth Whapham began his career in the Army as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist during the Cold War.  After leaving the military, he became a corrections officer and worked closely with other law enforcement officials and attorneys.  Ken worked for other investigation agencies for a few years and in 1994, he established Edge Investigative Group which later became Ken Whapham Investigations.  Over the years, he established himself as the Criminal Investigations Detective to call for some of the most prominent Attorneys in Winston-Salem and North Carolina.   In 2009, he joined with AngelArc and became  a full partner.  While Bill was deployed, he successfully led the company and closed countless files for all case types.

As the Founder of the company, Bill Shafer continues to plan and execute surveillance operations for any case type requiring real time and monitored surveillance and leads up to four man teams for some of the most difficult  investigations in environments other agencies shrink from.  He lives quietly in a remote location near Winston-Salem where he reads and composes music on his piano.

Kenneth Whapham continues to head the Criminal Investigations Desk for high profile cases for attorneys in North Carolina and also leads surveillance teams in operations across the state.  He lives with his wife in Winston-Salem and has two children who recently graduated college and work for high profile corporations.  He is an avid sports and politics fan and plays drums for a local band.

Andrea (Bones) Sweet has military intelligence training and was the Senior Intelligence Analyst the 105th Engineer Battalion, Task Force Thor, in the deadliest region of Afghanistan during 2010.  Her attention to information from the troops on the ground and analysis led to the changes in the way the war there was fought and provided real information to the troops in battle zones.  That essentially saved American lives and the lives of innocent civilians in the region.

In January 2011, Andrea joined our company.  She has become an extremely valuable asset to the company in the investigation of all things internet and electronic forensic investigations.  She lives in Winston-Salem and enjoys reading, painting, and listening to music of all types.
